  Let me guess, I said something like "I don't usually do things like that because I end up taking forever to get around to trying to to something like that, and I always feel pressured when I'm doing something for someone else." then I probably ended up asking you which character it was you wanted me to draw or something, right?   Fine, fine, I give up!  If you're willing to try now and a year ago, you'll surely try again next year.  And who knows?  If I start now, I may actually finish drawing something someone wants me to draw a year from now!  Maybe.  Perhaps that's too optimistic.

  Thanks!  I actually need to watch more stuff from the 90's, but I have a lot of friends who are into 90's stuff... and even older.  Like, 80's... 70's...  I can think of a couple good 40's titles.  Totally different ballgame there.

Yeah theirs quite a few older anime's i love 
One example Mononoke Hime, the animation and story to me in that movie is timeless!

  Of course!  Anything studio Ghibli is amazing.

  I have some friends that are really into older stuff than that even.  One friend in particular who's into anything older and more obscure, so he keeps trying to get me and my other friends to watch Rose of Versailles and Legend of the Galactic Heroes.(I've seen a bit of the latter, and it wasn't bad, actually.)

  But there are some things that are truly timeless, like the Dragon Ball/DBZ series.

Yeah my favorite anime older than that then i guess would be the original Gundam.
Yeah the DB shows are great, not a fan of GT and Super though.

  I saw the original Dragon Ball, and I saw Dragon Ball Kai, along with about half the DBZ movies, and scattered episodes here and there from the main series, but there's still big chunks of time I'm missing.

  I heard a lot of people saying the same thing about GT and Super, though.  Almost all my friends say GT was a travesty. :/

Yeah GT is no longer considered part of the official story arc as DB Super continues right after the end of DBZ.
