This process is very time consuming and creates an edge that is extremely sharp. These AISI 1050 High Carbon Steel blade is designed for optimal balance and handling, perfect for Tameshigiri practice. The solid alloy fittings are more than durable enough for regular use. Each sword has been fully handmade from start to finish, no two swords will be exactly alike.
