Description
This is my take on Gloom, at its littlest form.Gloom was never born until Riley moved away from Minnesota, and since then it's been eating up forgotten memories. Its face is really just a mask, which is part of its head.
It crawls around like larvae, and it shrieks like Riley did when she was a toddler.

Yeah, that mask will stay that way until Riley grows up.
Along the years, Gloom will get bigger as Riley gets older, because the smarter you are, the more you acknowledge everything around you can become more painful.

Trust me, it is GRIM! These bird creatures pretty much suffer through quite a lot of nasty crap in most of the episodes I had seen. It's like Tom and Jerry, if the charachters getting mangled... Stay mangled.

It's just that it fools you into thinking you are watching some innocent kids show like on PBS Kids or Nick JR, yet then shocks you with imagry the United States would find more appropriate for a PG raiting.

It's just that its surreality just misses it from getting a PG because the primary creatures are treated like obsolete machines needed to be desposed of, yet to me, that makes it even more disturbing.

Yeah, the design and animation is atrocious, but for some reason, it actually works to its advantage as the series ran from around the 60s all the way up to the late 90s.Β
