Well, I have to say the alphabet of Zar is extremely ragtag and somewhat confusing to both follow and pronounce! Yes, there are very few letters (notice the P and R marks) BUT when one gets into being able to change the letter “itself” into another word, OMG does it get confusing!

Each symbol stands for a picture (like the L, it looks like an “N” but is not). A is a bent cross, while X looks like three strands of hair, a circle, with a stick in the middle. Each symbol is simple all in itself, as I said, but the one thing about the language of Zar, is it is extremely ragtag AND thousands upon thousands of words can be “manipulated” out of the symbols you currently see.

The T symbol, for example, it looks a lot like a lower case R right? Well, if you make the top half of the symbol into a half circle, it will spell “Good day to you”. If you bend the bottom part of the middle section, it will say “Go away!” One HAS to be careful spelling in Zar. As in one single screw up could end up in a full blown war!

If you would like to see some more examples of Zar, I’ll be more then happy to provide them…but for now, I’ll just put some other notes down on what the Symbols “looks” are.

G- Serpent with no head
H- Road leading into a castle
I- Smoke stack
J- Animal with wind blowing in its mane
K- Mountains
L- N with a streak
M- M with a streak
N- A old scar wound
O- A tree running around with a bucket of water
P/Q- Elongated tail
S/R- Ribbons caught in a gutter
T- Bent crook
U- S like Z with a sword in the middle
V- Cat toy
W- Grains of wheat in a mill house
X- Three hairs, circle, and stick in the middle
Y- Spinning bladeZar’s first initial
