And so Melanie ends up winning, and Heinz outlasts Matt kinda... Thus another seasons wraps up, and No Redemption Island in SFC9. 10 of my characters, 10 applicant characters.Also, I am out of town, and internet is very.... bad right now. So if you want me to answer anything about the season, just ask it here, and when I get the time to, I'll address it.

Unsurprising.
I liked the season but... it didn't click right. I don't know how to explain it. It felt different somehow.
I stated before that I didn't see Melanie as a winner and I found her boring, but afterwards I guessed she grew on me. I suppose it was the fact that she had an interesting gameplan, which was "new" since most people were shit at doing any strategy.
Most of the characters were too worried being OTT or generic evil/nice, so in the end there wasn't much competition for Melanie. In fact Geena was the only true competition she had, since Ireanus annoyed pretty much everyone and would rather act OTT than get jury vores.
I found some characters dull but it was only premerge and the start of the merge, afterwards things got better.
The twists on the other hand were pretty cool. I hated the mutiny after Xero used it and Heinz got blindsided, but thinking back it was a pretty strong dynamic. The vote nullifier was also a very neat idea, especially when you had Melanie nullifying her own vote. Not so keen on the outcasts twist, however.
The attitude of Oehda at Ponderosa I'm unable to explain, and the fact that she was still so happy even after Melanie said she voted her out.
Johnny pissed me off, too. I loved when Malik and Beer reunited, though.
By the way, there's something that hasn't been explained. If Matt isn't from Tekken, where is he from? Is he from anywhere? And why did he have Hwoarang, a Tekken character, as his visit if he's not from Tekken?

I still don't know why people hate this season! I find it a good season with one of the best twists and changes ever and I found the cast diverse and the only thing that kind of brings it down was a hideous Final 5 (Aside MelMelMastermind) and a predictable winner which was luckily Melanie let's rank y'all!

Overall, kinda a fun season. Not the best, but not the worse. Melanie was an easy winner, which I called. There were some hilarious characters, some duds, and some okay ones. Nothing much to say about this season, but nice twist. And, shut up, there is nothing wrong with redemption island. You and all the other fans just need to shut up and accept changes when they come and stop whining about them. Sheez.

1. Season 3 (Still can't beat that fun cast of characters and the best winner so far)
2. Season 5 (I seriously don't see why this season is so controversial, as I really did love it)
3. Season 1 (Craig and a few others made the first season memorable and still very loved)
4. Season 2 (Probably the most boring winner and most good characters going off early did not help)
5. Season 8 (A mixture of funny and dull characters, combined with an interesting twist and a decent winner, made for an okay season)
6. Season 4 (Next time, you might want more COMMON canon characters more people actually know, and don't have such a dull winner)
7. Season 7 (You get points for using Russell and at least not kicking him out first, but still disrespectful to bring in a real player and do that)
8. Season 6 (Yep, dead last. Sorry, but just total ruining of several characters, a predictable and undesired finale, and just a bad storyline)

1. Montana (My home girl [name-wise] is still the most badass and awesome winner of your series, hands down)
2. Marius (He's mainly here by default, since he at least reminded me of Russell Hantz and he honestly did deserve to win)
3. Ellise (She was pretty boring, but she at least stays out of the bottom thanks to her miracle comeback from being basically dead)
4. Skylar (Still don't really like this buffoon, but at least he was far more polarizing and hilarious than the final guy)
5. Melanie (She's hot, she's a Succubus, and her personality was slightly charming, not to mention she had a pretty good game plan)
6. Barney (He has a dinosaur's name and he was nothing more than a muscle-head strategy bot who I seriously could care less for)
7. Ker (Just a stupid nut-job who's only claim to fame was outlasting what happened to her pitiful tribe. Not really deserving at all)
8. Bitsy (I just do not respect her game at all. At least when Russell did it, he didn't go about it like that. I cannot stand by this brat at all)

Whatever the case, I didn't mind it. Even though I personally found the medallion of power to be useless, I still liked to see it and was excited for the momentary change. I accept all the changes and take them with a grain of salt. Complaining and whining about is just foolish.
Again, you know that I am different than all your other friends. I think differently, and I judge differently than ALL of them. The winner of the season, the characters of the season, the species of the characters, the humor and gags, the challenges, and the twists all weigh in on my decisions. I'm not retarded; I don't just put together the list randomly. I put my honest thoughts. I personally do not think this season deserves to be at the bottom of the list.
