Figured, why not do some more?Previously: Sprite Stuff: Fake 'Super Mario RPG' Sequel 9
Besides, wanted to play with some more custom Mario RPG sprites I've come across, and it gave me an excuse to try and craft more of my own sprites in that style.
Mario, Knuckles, and Wario face down some normal fodder-type enemies in the form of a Rex (Mario World), Motobug (Sonic) and a Phanto (SMB2).
Perhaps the big villain tag-team (either Eggman/Koopa or Eggman/Smithy Gang) have nabbed the chaos emerald that Knuckles guards to power some new weapon, thus drawing the ire of the spikey-fisted echidna. For me it's kinda hard to think up a Sonic story without bringing in Knuckles at some point.
The only thing I made was a slightly edited and cobbled together Knuckles sprite using the Sonic-Mania sprite of him. Took two pixel heights off him, as well as one pixel width and messed around with shoe and head 'angles'.

The custom Rex sprite was made by Taj Man
The custom Wario sprite was made by Waroh
The Motobug sprite was a custom 'Mario Kart-style' version made by NICKtendo DS
