Description Apo and PS wallpaper sized for anyone who wants it.

It's only fitting that I do this in one of my favorite colors, light baby blue... It has special meaning to me, but I want you to feel free to make of it what you will, so I'll not include any more ramblings.

This fractal is somehow reminiscent of my very early childhood to me, I can't say exactly how but it's a mystical piece anyway.

Very pretty and detailed. I especially love the detail in the center. The background texture is very subtle and quite nice. I like it!

wow, this is awesome... it reminds me of the gothic cathedral in plan, only with details from the elevation... such as, the arches, etc. The center looks like the middle of the stained-glass windows, and of course the cross-shape reflects the purpose of the cathedral...

but that is just my take on it. I see the fractal triangles in the background. I'd like to know what your ideas were when you came up with this... your so called "ramblings"

Ok, since you asked...

you're right about the gothic influence, with the cathedral windows and the cross...

The inclusion of the Sierpinski triangle (though I took the time to make sure it was reflected equally in all 4 directions) behind the image serves as a reminder of the elemental. Everyone is always looking for the answers to their problems, often overlooking the things that are most basic and fundamental.

I believe in a higher power so this is deeply personal to me in my mere attempt to portray those things that are "elemental concepts" in my mind. The sign of the cross, an embodiment of the love and sacrifice of our creator, the fractal itself which signifies the proof of infinity, the color blue which personifies me as a person (my favorite color) and also symbolizes the blue sky and it's boundlessness beyond our atmosphere, and lastly, the title which gives reverence to these things, each in it's own right.

ah, I love it! So good! I love the muted colors anyways...I tend to like brighter colors, and blue is also my favorite ^_^

the center of this piece reminds me of davinci's vitruvian (sp?) man... i can't really explain why, but in my head that's what i see, among other things.

i enjoy the symmetry and the near grey scale shades. lovely.

Yeah, I can see that. I've been influenced largely by some of those great Renaissance artists, and he has always been one of my favorites!

So delicate yet so powerful. At the late night my eyes usually start puffing up and watering. So I can also see an evil alien four winged fly in it. (yes I'm weird)

very intricate..love the way it looks like its done on a fine tablecloth... my only disappointment would be the top and bottom being cropped off before the loop is complete...other than that its very nice!

Ahhh, that would be my regret too, unfortunately, the render did not capture that portion of the flame. I don't know why. I'm afraid to zoom out because it takes so long to render that way, and almost always crashes my computer.

Thanks for our comment

Sya,

I really like this. I think it has a spiritual feel to it. And lightly, ever so lightly in the background the classic triangular fractal repetition. A fitting image to symbolize the spirituality of the fractal.
