Woah, I really love this piece!
Maybe her beard is bit too pointy and there is something wrong with her left palm (too wide? or maybe it's because of shading? sorry, no idea, just say what I think). But I really love colours and the way you caught the mood. This feeling of unfinishness gives to your arts much dynamics and is absolutely fine for me (I don't feel need to see it polished to photorealistic or something). I watched one your video (but others are already on my to watch list) when you say you could just finish on the sketch because that's your favourite part. It's well seen on your pictures. I really like your style and your videos are inspiring for me

Gorgeous! She reminds me of a Lion fish for some reason. I've been watching your videos on youtube for a while now and all of the information you give is very helpful. (Especially your coiling technique, I loved it) And it's not just meaningless blabble, you seem to put a lot of thought into the things you say and that's awesome. I can relate a ton to a lot of it. Maybe that's why I appreciate you so much? /shrugsΒ

someone mentioned it in an earlier commet too, about how some parts are in focus and some aren't how do you decide to add clear details at some parts, but leave just enough detail for some other parts where its not really clear but you can still tell whatever that thing is? sorry if it doesnt make sense.

I have found that starting my paintings as a few random strokes and just building from what I see in those strokes to be so relaxing. There is so much pressure in having a completed image in ones' mind before even starting to paint, whereas when I just paint from what I see on the page it's so much easier. It is pretty much how I do all my work now, even when I have guidelines.
Edit: Odd my phone dropped part of my message. Started with, "This turned out very nice, great mood, atmosphere, and the form feels nice too". Really bro, great job.

The way you explained things actually makes perfect sense.. I sometimes struggle with overthinking and analysis so I understand what it feels like to go through "analysis paralysis" which is what I think is the source of all my art blocks..
