Alternatively, if it gets popular on Desura it will be uploaded to Steam
and then it will be an app

Yes, you have to get Desura, but it's light weight and easy to use. And I will desperately need people to play and rate the game when starting out. You can always delete Desura afterwards

Yeah, Desura's quite small if I remember correctly and it doesn't slowdown the computer or do much at all. It's just a DRM program really. That stops people stealing your games.
