I'd check out the blog which is linked in the description if you want to know more (plus I love all her stuff, it's a great AU) but there's a point in her story where most of the legendaries become mostly human.  Some are past deities, some are heroes of old that were cursed, etc.  If I recall, Giratina along with the other Sinnoh legendaries were essentially gods of old.  And then once Giratina becomes human, obviously Dawn has to help him adapt to modern life.  And then romance blossoms between the two and Tanith is born.  They are a endgame couple, despite the obvious complications such a pairing would pose, but the creator does a good job making it work.

I assume your Giratina is still a Pokemon and not somehow turned into a human, but there you go for a possible mate.  Dawn
