Nancy hurried towards the front door, barely able to contain her excitement. Sad hime followed her, hurried into the tiny front door, nearly banging her head on her way in. The pink and white house was impeccably decorated, with modern furniture, dishes and decorations that offset its rustic exterior. She explored the downstairs area and the kitchen before working her way upstairs.

Sad hime followed upstairs.

“Now, let me see…” nancy said as she sifted through drawers and dressers. She opened a small jewelry chest on top of a dresser before moving on to a silver box. Inside the box were dozens of frosted sweets, all decorated with the words, “eat me”, “try me”,take one”

“No! You mustn’t eat those cookies!” The hime squeaked

“Why, my lady?” Nancy wondered

“Those cookies change your size, I’ve learned that the hard way”

Nancy hummed to herself cheerfully as she searched, rummaging through the chest at the foot of the master bed. She couldn’t wait to finish so she could ask the hime her questions.

“What are you doing?” The hime asked

“Looking around this lovely home you’ve got there, I like it here”
