Your colors are vibrant and contrast well, I especially like that you took the harp and made it red, not the pony's gold. There's a lot of good shadowing for depth to the character. The ear looks a bit odd, I think because you had the head on a slight football shape or maybe because it could have been a bit more centered even with the football shape. The lyre (and especially it's chain) look a bit 2d. They could use some shading. There are a lot of eye motes, which is generally great for making a character who is excited, but in this case you wanted an emphasis on the hoof, which I didn't see until you mentioned it. Finally, I found the background disrupted the impact. That is to say that it draws away from Lyra herself. No matter how many nit-picky things I write, this really looks like you worked hard on it. Apologies if I tend to be a bit harsh-ish -- it's only because I wish others to do the same with me, so that I can improve.
