Description My favorite Cardassian Gul. I decided to update the make-up design just a little bit. I tried to keep the subtle differences from Dukat and Macet.

The lighting is wonderful, his expression very nicely done and intriguing and the scales are just all over the place, just the way I love it. Also looove the rings on his neck. He's one gorgeous MF !Β

Great job on the subtle differences and similarities. And all the scales and ridges, especially the neck ridges! Great light and shadowing, too!

Nice dark mood and good likeness! Is this photoshop or traditional airbrush?

Thanks, I have been trying new things lately to push my talents further.

It's digital airbrushing done in Gimp. Although I'm just as good with an actual airbrush machine; I do art on cars from time to time.

Cool, btw I got an airbrush for my birthday, any good tips on resources for learning to use it?

get a bunch of scrap metal from the junkyards and get thin cardboard and masking tape

and just play around, that's how I got this awesome sun that my mom ran off with

Man, this is awesome. Although I liked Dukat more as a character more, there was a certain charm about Macet that really made him fun to watch.

Thanks for the fav.

Same here, but I think it would have been really interesting if they had brought back Macet just a few times. Enough to develop the character a bit more.

Yeah, more important Cardassians in the series would have been excellent at least, Macet would have made it even better yet. Would have been real interesting to see what could have come out of him having come back for a few more encounters.

that is excellent, he does look a little likeΒ  pleasant dukat in a way, no sideburns

Thank you so much.

More pleasant and, in the TNG episode "The Wounded", far more honorable. I love how Alaimo portrayed both characters.

No sideburns, beard, the ridge on the chin is triangular instead of square, the "spoon" is more fluted and shallower, the tip of the nose is more pointed, and the eye and forehead ridges are more craggy. Like I said subtle differences lol, plus Macet had surface veins as well.
