I haven't given her a name, so for now I'll just call her the Snake Queen. She was inspired by a character design from Conan Exiles.
It's a bit different than what I normally do; a bit more of a pinup style. I really want to make everything tasteful, but sexy, and I hope I pulled that off here!
I've also never painted snakes before, but I had an absolute blast bringing these guys to life. I tried to give each one their own personality. I think they're a bit cute. x3

Starcall is my ongoing request project. I wanted it to be more than just open requests. I wanted it to have a name, to feel real, to feel tangible. I want it to be a project that I can extend to the rest of the artists here in hopes to bring more attention and life to our generous community. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but this scene reminds me very strongly of the Neverending Story -- and I mean the book version, not the movie. (Which I love, too, but which does not go quite as deep as the original format.)

I love that the Snake Queen has a bit of both's snake's color (clothing - gold / hair somewhat purple - but actually blue) BUT that fits great with the contrast. I'm trying to imagine how it would look like if you'd given the purple snake blue eyes - but I think it'd be just a tad less serene. I think I def prefer golden.
Hm your art makes me want to try to achieve that soft coloring feel as well... perhaps I'll try! I love it that you don't have very hard lines .. or just hard lines in the right places. *continues to ramble and praise*

I've been wanting to experiment a bit with a messier, more painterly look. I've always loved the clean soft look, but sometimes I wonder if it's TOO soft! I'm really glad you like it though ^^

I'd say you definitely succeded with the tasteful sexiness. It definitely has a bit of the old pinup style and it works really well. I really like her ''collar'' thing. It's a nice subtle way to tie in the snake theme to her. And finally, her face is simply gorgeous!
