Okay, there really wasn't any celtic divinity with a weasel head an antlers... But the idea sounded nice and it makes me think Cernunnos, god of wildlife and fertility. It could also be any kind of minor divinity associated with a forest, a spring or a tree.Kind of art nouveau inspired, but with celtic knots instead of flowery patterns.
Photoshop CS5 and my old Wacom tablet, cause the small Bamboo is dead. Buy new stuff, they said...

I think you've put your deviation in the wrong gallery. In order to gain proper exposure and help dA stay organized, I would suggest moving your piece to the Anthro gallery. In the future, you may want to refer to the gallery descriptions (a tutorial to finding them is HERE ) during the submission process to avoid further miscats.

Hi there,
I know the rules rather well, in fact, and I know where to find the galleries description. I chose to put this deviation in "fantasy" instead of "anthro" because the subject of this painting is a divinity and celtic myth. The mix between human and animal is a way to achieve the fantasy effect.
However if you still think I really a very important mistake, I'll change the gallery.

My ferret is a little thief! She breaks out of her cage, steals my shoes, ramen packages, plastic bags, oatmeal cakes and she loves to steal and EAT honeybuns. She also enjoys knocking over my cup of water, drinking it, then running when I yell at her to stop. She then poops in corners, and when I chose to put her back in her cage for punishment...
She breaks out again!
... Ferrets are evil little weasels... evil...!!!
I'm totally going to buy another one. bahaha!

Ah right mine does the tea cup thing and pooping in the corner too. And he steals tampons. Then open the pacjage. Then play with it, until there are weird pieces of cotton everywere.
Must love ferrets. Most adorable thieves on earth!

Ah! I totally forgot about the STEALING TAMPONS!
Mine does that, however... I put my tampons on the top cabinet in the bathroom so she can't get them. She's a little devil, annoys the heck out of me but I really really love her. Ferrets are very interesting little things. She picks on me. It's fun to watch her tease my dogs too. Strangely, she doesn't pick on my cat at all. They get along perfectly.

Furrets! Oh, this is awesome. They're so cute and you really nailed how they look. (in the face, of course, lol) The detail to all their curves/facial structure/proportions is so spot on. You also really made me believe that this was based on a real Celtic god too! XD
I, personally, think they would be the god of carpet-sharking and war-dancing -and momentary staring-off-into-space-pauses ...before mischievous acts and EXTREME ACTION FLIP OUTS

YES! XD They're like joyous bumper cars. XD I haven't had any in years, (I just can't afford the potential medical bills ATM) but I still love them so much. I never knew how much I'd love them until I accidentally ended up with my first one. Seriously- one of the most awesome creatures ever. /Mad respect and love for those creatures.

The ferret god spends most of it's time playing tricks on humans. It loves stealing things such as: insoles, pens, ipods, and anything else that takes its fancy.
When it Weasel Wardances the earth shakes. When it sleeps you can hear the sound of its snoring, which is comparable to a deflating balloon.
If you ever encounter the ferret god don't worry; it's easily distracted with treats.
