"Your suffering is her pleasure."Nymira is a fighter of unknown origins. Having sprung up seemingly out of nowhere, Nymira's introduction to the world was an utterly shocking one. In her first televised fight in a minor league tournament, Nymira broke her opponent's arm before collapsing her trachea. Facing an immediate ban, Nymira none the less caught the eye of a few unscrupulous individuals who decided to move her up in the world. Big mistake. After several more incidents of extreme violence and aggression, Nymira was banned from all official tournaments.
So Nymira took to the underground. But even amongst those who fight with few rules, Nymira was seen as too much, forcing her to even more obscure and dangerous fights. Eventually, she found a niche, jumping between the infamous "Brutal Fights" and various underground circuits where she became a legend; the Queen of Pain. The amount of people she has sent to the hospital or the morgue has garnered her an extreme reputation as quite possibly the most bloodthirsty, vile and brutal fighter in the world. So it's no surprise that many fighters seek to fight against her to be the one that puts her down. For good.
Thus far, none have succeeded.

I actually had a story planned where a couple of of the greats team up to take her down. It ends on a more sweet note that you'd expect.

She's usually pretty reclusive, but when she does interact with non-combatants or fighters outside an arena, she's usually pretty calm and stoic if rather intimidating. It's one of the primary reasons the law and agencies like Shoki don't hunt her down. She has, to their knowledge never killed anyone who hasn't challenged her or faced her in combat.

I was just reminded, an upcoming image with her is actually the lead up to a neck snap like you mentioned, so there's that as well!

Yeah I have to say I'm really surprised your work doesn't get more recognition. Β Β Unf. that seems to be the trend here on DA in at least the last few years.Β Original work, ideas and characters just don't seem to get the recognition that I think they should. Β Β But I'm glad to hear you're going to keep pushing regardless ^^

Yeah, it's a shame, but that's just the way it goes. I usually get a decent couple of faves, but this last batch hasn't gotten as much love, which is a shame since I think these ones turned out great. Either the way, the art is just as much for me as others, so it won't stop me from doing what I love.

My character Drygar is very respectable when it comes to meeting someone who others would view as different. Β He's open minded and doesn't judge someone for how they look.Β Basically he believes in treating someone as he would wish to be treated,Β unless they give him a clear reason to feel otherwise, for which he would just then avoid them.
Victor on the other hand is the complete opposite.Β He actually bullied Drygar quite a bit during their child and teen years.Β Mostly verbal, but some physical bullying as well.
