Teresa Macready is an American born fighter primarily known for her early career. Six years ago, she was on top of the world. She was winning tournaments left and right, and was considered nigh-unbeatable by many of the fighters who faced her. It was at the height of her career that she met the woman who would ruin her life. She had decided to try something new, and branched out into slightly more illegal territory, finding herself in an underground cage match. She was up against a newcomer to the scene, a crazy looking girl by the name of Nymira.

By the start of the second round, she found herself completely at the mercy of this unknown fighter. Despite all her skills, all her training, she was being beaten without much effort by a nobody. In a fit of rage, she struck out, scratching Nymira across the face. The fighter stopped, rubbing the blood from her face and examining it. With a predatory smile, she leapt upon Teresa. Teresa was beaten to the point of helplessness, before Nymira dug her thumb into Teresa's right eye, popping it.

The match was ended immediately, with Teresa being rushed to the hospital. When she was finally released, it was all over. She knew she would never be able to fight like she used to, so she retired. But only a year into her retirement, a fire ignited in her. She dug up her old gi, and began training. She would examine all of Nymira's fights, and practice to defend against her moves. She would train he body to resist all pain and to gain strength that few could match. she would do this, so she could be the one who took down the monster who had ruined so many fighters.
