Description "That thing is still alive? After all this time?"

There are believed to be a number of Xenomorph Hiveworlds littered amongst the stars, the most prominent of which is dubbed Xenomorph Prime. There is one however that has only recently been discovered by humanity. Using Engineer Star Maps and technology, humanity has managed to make their way to a lonely planetoid far, far from our home. This planet is believed to be the true origin of Chemical A0-3959X.91 - 15, aka. The Pathogen. Previously believed to have been developed solely by the Engineers, it is now understood that the original form of this pathogen was created here by an entity that the Engineers revered as a god. Thus, humanity set out to the planetoid to attempt to discover the origin of the Xenomorphs and hopefully find a way to stop them once and for all.

After the Harbinger beckoned the team forward, they knew that this would be their only chance. The team began unpacking from their bags, pulling out heavy explosives, including a handheld nuclear weapon. They were going to blow this place sky-high. Those not preparing the nuke prepared for battle, tossing out their remaining sentry turrets and aiming down their sights. Much to their surprise, this blatant act of defiance and aggression was met with continued deafening silence. None of the Xenomorphs moved, the Harvesters continued on their way and the turrets seemingly refused to fire. Shockingly, only two things happened in response. The Harbinger lowered its arm before resuming its previous pose and the head scientist drew his weapon. Instead of aiming at the Harbinger, he turned his weapon on his colleagues. Understandably, they were shocked. An argument broke out between the two factions, one heated enough that they failed to hear another creature approach.

It stood behind the researcher, alerting the remaining humans to its presence. The researcher turned, only to be gently moved out of the way. It was an Engineer; female if the armor was to be observed correctly. She approached the defiant humans with aggressive intent, causing them to open fire. She blocked their fire however, as her arm erupted into a massive mutated mass of Pathogen and flesh. She then used this arm to tear a few of them asunder, before she moved closer, smashing their machinery and weaponry. The remaining humans tried valiantly to defeat her, but were ultimately killed by the Pathogen infused Engineer with minimal effort. After she surveyed the damage, returning her form to normal, she turned to the sole survivor. She stomped over to him as he backed away. But instead of killing him as well, she simply passed by him. She continued further into the structure, before turning towards the human once again. Within his head, a single word echoed. "Mother." He somehow understood this was an invitation. He stood up and rushed by the towering Harbinger, into a fate unknown...
