one of my first jewellery assignments.rivet project. I used silver and brass. (couldn't afford gold back then)
had to use 4 kinds of rivets.
I got full marks on this one.
the wings move up and down but are limited so they down move to a point where it would look dumb.

You do it at home or at a workplace? And are the tools expensive.

did that in school, the tools vary in price.
a saw is like $20 canadian, where a draw plate for wire are like $200.
so to get everything you need be looking at $5,000 cnd.
There is places like this [link] that have all the tools and accessories one would ever need.
