One of the problems with living in a Pacific Time Zone is that for everyone else, the day's almost over... (~_~)

Anyway, this is a little bit of Akira x Yuya fluff that I drew for for her birthday yesterday. Thanks to her fanfics, I started shipping the couple (my first non-canon ship! O_O) Since it was practically Hanamatsuri anyway, I thought I might as well use it for a theme.

I had fun designing clothing for both Akira and Yuya - I used scans of origami paper for Yuya's kimono and obi.

The lotus blossom and the lotus incense burner in the left and right corners were cg-ed seperately (lotus because it's a symbol of Buddha and Hanamatsuri is a Bhuddist festival, and... yeah... ^_^')

Wow this is gorgeous! It has sort of an ethereal ambience to it . Hehe that's a neat trick to Yuya's kimono. The colors on the incense burner is quite vivid . Lovely!

... sweety, I make 'em up as I go. It involves lots of staring into space, cursing, caffeine, insomnia and chocolate. And PMS from time to time. I really don't think you want to try that route. Best way to learn is to take a crack at it and screw up... and try again.

This is so pretty. I love how tender the entire piece looks. The flowers in the front look amazing. And the details on Yuya's kimono are so pretty, it gives it a very sweet look. Akira looks so cute holding Yuya's hand and kissing it like that.

That's a very nice birthday gift for Aly-chan, heh.

Thanks - I really wish I could stop using pink when drawing yuya tho... I HATE pink with all the firey heat of the infernal depths of hell... but it looks good on her. dammit!

It's not pink, IT is really light fushia *sp. Hmm... she may look goot in a light blue with some sort of grass/foliage color pattern.
