Well, This would be the second in my little series of work sketches! I think this is the first image I've done with a "completed" background. It started as a sketch to play with drawing narrow shoulders (I always seem to give my women broad, strong shoulders) I also structured the face just a little different than I usually do. But she's still got a big a$$, ha!

This was fun because I only had a few colored pencils to work with... Yellow, brown, red, purple, and green. Again, the base sketch was done in black ball-point pen (with a little blue ball-point pen added in...), so lines are a little sketchy

When I finished this I was so proud of myself and I was absolutely surprised that it looked so nicely unified, and then I was like... Ah-ha! My colour theory teacher wasn't joking when she talked about limited colour palettes!
