Description This is my other piece I have done from my "How to paint wild animals" book by Kalon Baughn. Except I didnt paint it, again it has been done with coloured chalk pastels. I'm very good at starting pieces then ditching them for a month before continuing. I did it with this one, with the Big Cats piece and now have started one of two wolves which is sitting unfinished on the desk next to me hehe.
Yeah I know the photo makes it look twisted, but I have to take it on an angle otherwise you get flash rebound from the glass. This is hanging in my home, Dad claimed it before I'd even finished it.

That is SO pretty. I love the colors, you're really amazing. I wish I had a tenth of the skill! lmao I wish I lived near you, then I could suck up and get a kitty picture for a birthday, or something. lol Then again, I would probably buy several from you anyway. Great work!

LOL I wished I still took art and had the time to do big pictures. This I did when I was 16 and I'm 20 now and haven't done much since then and nothing like that. Funny you should mention the pet portraits...I should be working on some right now, shhhhh

And you'll have to move a fair way to be near me! I'm in New Zealand hehe

New- New Zealand?! T_T I do wish I lived there, everything I've heard and seen of it look and sound so wonderful! No wonder you were inspired to make such amazing art! 16? Ahhh, so talented and younger than me. x_X I'm hopeless. lol j/k That's amazing. I hope you get the time to invest in such an endeavor, I believe that for the people who love to make artistic things the most, they feel better when they've created something they feel called to do. If you do make a pet portrait, I can't wait to see it. I'm sure it'll be just as amazing.
