I think her design is beautiful and particularly loved coloring her hair! I was inspired by Mantrum is ready to sleep! (although, after redrawing this so many times, they no longer look much alike).

The story behind this illustration is long and drawn-out. (but I'll try to make it short )

I held a raffle (years ago...). However, it was just after this that I allowed my job to take over my life. So, while I occasionally (very occasionally) worked on this illustration, a lot of time had passed since I had last seen it. Each time I looked back at it I would think "That's completely wrong!" or "Wouldn't it be nice if..." and thus, it barely resembles the original.

Each time I look at this I feel like modifying and/or adding to it... I'll probably update it in a couple of years...
