Description
Imps are more or less the raccoons of the demon world if raccoons had a nasty habit of starting fires. They tend to travel in small groups of two to five and have a habit of hanging around gremlins. Somewhat resembling a sphynx cat with overly large ears, the Imp can come in a variety of unpleasant colors ranging from gray to a fleshy pink, with swampy green showing up now and then to mix things up bit.
They switch between slinking around on all fours and loping around on two legs like old men sneaking around the shady parts of town. When imps grow older, their wings start to come in and the accursed things learn to fly. The more intelligent ones even learn a few words of whatever common folk or demons they happen to pester.
Imps are notorious for starting fires and turning aggressive at the drop of a dime. While they lack actual magic that they can bend to their own will, their eyes are glowing embers and their blood burns when they bleed. Imps are a nomadic species due to their tendency to unintentionally start fires when they get in fights or start chewing on things they should not chew on.
Most imps are considered overly intelligent vermin, with more thorough bred ones being kept and trained by arch demons as cheap spies, saboteurs and errand runners.
