Yes
His underside is a steel-gray in the mainline games, but a more gold-yellow color in Stories, which is the color scheme we went with.

His underside really is a golden color in Stories, rather than gray. They've made some color adjustments to some mons, like the black parts of Dinovaldo and Rathalos have a tint of blue to them, Azure Rathalos is more a bright cyan color as is Lagiacrus and lagi's tail is a vivid orange color.

his tummy is silvery metal coloured and the glow of the lava is reflecting off his tummy making it look golden

His scales aren't that reflective, even in Stories where things are more stylized looking in terms of shading and whatnot (The detail on the monsters though, is still pretty intricate)
They are indeed a golden color in this - it's an actual change they made. In the "bestiary" and even in other biomes you fight him, it's a very clear change.
Silver and Gold raths though are pretty reflective, but it's just a specular brightness and not actually reflecting surrounding colors (The game engine doesn't allow for that I imagine)
