Description
I was talking with someone on a drawing of Malygos and she mentioned what a loon the guy was at times, and how cheerful he could be in contrast to how grumpy Nozdormu was. Well it sort of spawned this idea of Maly shouting ROAD TRIP! when they enlisted him to help save Alex.Anyway, drew this between drawings while at college today. I had no references available to me so I kept things simple.
Malygos: Road trip!
Korial: No you don't understand... We have to save Alex D:
Nozdormu: Can we please just leave him behind? >_>
Oh yeah and the middle doodle was sort of inspired by her mentioning Malygos not having a tail-sweep attack

And Maly teasing him about it afterward probably didn't help matters any

First thing I have to get this all finished up (Was mostly practice while I was at college), then I'll see about a second picture of the two quarreling and Ysera breaking up their fight

Like I've told a lot of people, I don't consider most of what happens after TBC to be canon at all. Maly is still very much alive in my book (The garbage about him breaking down mentally that Blizzard fed us was just IMO an excuse to squeeze in another raid boss, preferably a dragon-related one since the last big one was Ony and Nef from Classic. Plus Malygos just happens to be in the area, and it's likely Blizzard underestimated how popular he was. I highly doubt they were actually planning on him going nuts like that when WoW was first launched.)

But yeah Maly apparently engaged in shenanigans like this a lot in the books and was overall a very friendly individual. I think all the blue dragons are pretty eccentric... Perhaps they got it from him

yeah even tho they killed deathwing he's still alive in my book. same with arthas.i acually killed deathwing and he killed me. and when he did i got a lovely view of nozdormu's ass

To an extent I see Neltharion and Deathwing as two separate individuals that just share the same body - DW is the embodiment of the evil god that corrupted him and is the one that 97% of the WoW population* recognizes him as, and Neltharion is the poor soul that is getting pushed around and is buried beneath the presence of whatshisface that corrupted him. I think it started with an 'N'... Sadly, when DW was killed Neltharion died with him (It was his body after all).
I see his spirit as persisting and being open for resurrection, but that's just me.
Arthas I can see being injured but not killed, having escaped before the last blow was landed. He's like... An iconic figure in the franchise. You can't just go and kill something like that D: 
*Would you believe almost everyone I talked to during my four years of playing the game never knew DW used to be "Not-evil" at one point? Is true. A few friends of mine never even know who Alex was! DX

yeah and deathwing was created by the dragon soul(mr.greedypants) and well nel is still nel in my mind and not dead.
yeah i daydream of me or someone else saving arthas(a little too late i might add) and he's injured from the trion and darion fight.

I never really understood why they went and used that artifact a second time even if it was to defeat DW. I mean, what with all the havoc it caused you'd think Alex would have disapproved of its use. Though to be fair, desperate times do often call for desperate measures, and as all I know of the raid and its events is what a few friends have told me is still possible Alex didn't exactly want to use it. I don't really care either way, and don't really want to know either, but I did raise an eyebrow when I was told they used it.
Out of the major characters that died off, the only one I don't see as being saved/escaping/etc or care to find a way to help them would be Nefarion. Hell, sometimes I think he's caused more damage than DW has (Emotional and psychological damage as opposed to breaking stuff, but damage nonetheless.). And he was such an ass to his little sister too D:
Arthas, Ony, Kael, Illidian, and all the rest I'd like to either remain alive - even if they're still ebil - or be saved somehow, but Nefarion must die :<

whose neltharion's sister? i didn't play or read the lore. and i don't get it ethier. why use it if it might psobly kill everyone?they could've just kicked deathwing out and-bang-neltharion's back going:"halloo i am lingsay lohan!"(plz tell me u know who dat is)deathwing's cool but arthas beats him by alot

Well like said, Desperate times call for desperate measures. They didn't want to risk him getting away and thought the risk was worth it. It doesn't seem at all like something Alex would approve of even in such a situation, but that just supports my feelings that the story is going downhill (Not to say that it's bad, it's just a lot of things were poorly implemented IMO.)
Mmm the name isn't familiar, but I do recall Akmehd the Dead Terrorist saying that line
Deathwing is sort of "meh" to me. He's just a typical villain-type: Out to destroy the world, vengeful and evil, no real intricate motives. The reason for that is mainly because that's what the guy who corrupted him was like. He's not like say Sephiroth, David Xanatos (Who is the polar opposite of most villains), and such characters who are a little more complex. If he had bouts of fighting with the one controlling him it might make it a bit more interesting, but alas... (It would really have been something if his good self tried doing something to assist the players/aspects in the final fights 
Sephiroth went totally off the deep end and wanted to blow the world up too, but unlike DW he drove himself insane - it wasn't someone else who screwed him. David isn't a "blow-the-world-up" type, or even a vengeful person, but he is a villain. (Srsly, how many supervilain types do you know of that never get pissed at the hero, always declare even their losses as a victory, and shuns the very notion of revenge?

hey have herd of the new expansion that came out? i'm still playing and got my main toon clifside,worgen hunter on proudmore to 87. and if you got back on maybe we can create a new character on proudmore or on your main relm together.(i don't care if allince or horde)

I never understood why they added the worgens at all - despite it being a fascinating idea for a race.
Up until quitting WoW I played on Turalyon. My 70 Tauren Hunter (at the time that was the lvl cap) doesn't even exist anymore since it got "Paid Transferred" to some randomarse account just days before I made the *decision to leave, and the email associated with both my WoW and B.Net account has long since fallen into the void. The company that provided it went bankrupt sometime before my mother died of cancer, so that was about... four to six years ago. Not even Blizzard could recover that. I don't remember the names or levels of my other two characters, as I played my huntard almost 23/7.
*I was considering leaving before this happened, and my grandparents decided against renewing it. Years later when I could rejoin with my own money, I decided against it after reading about Malygos in Wrath.
So yes I've heard of it, but no I have absolutely no intention of ever returning to the game - new account or salvaged old one. It's changed far too much for my comfort. If it was still back in the Classic or TBC era I might have, but after Wrath and Cata I just don't feel like spending money on the MMO now. I told Taru the same thing when she offered me the scroll of resurrection deal they were having a while ago.

*shrugs* I'm used to that. Never really bothered me much. What did bother me was quests that had a 5% or 6% drop rate for a needed item, and you had to gather like 10 or 20 of them >_<
Anything that involved beating the crap out of dragons (Especially whelps) pissed me off too, but in an entirely different way.

you beat alot more than dragons:horde,animals,sha festation's no dragon killing actually. you ride the cloud serpents but to get them you got to be exalted with the cloud serpent order.
