Velenna lives in a forest filled with stick-thin trees. Half the year the area it is blanketed in snow and the other half its raided by birds and soft sunlight. She lives alone, rarely seeing other Cupes. Being adventurous, Velenna moves around a lot and doesn't have an allocated home. She has mastered the art of creating temporary nests within branches.

Velenna is naturally gifted with magic and specialises in summoning bugs and critters. Easiest for her is bees, since she can make herself appear as a co-queen bee; of course within the cold half of the year most bees are in hibernation.
Her magic appears as a glowing red-yellow, only her right hand (the one with prints) is able to use magic.

Backstory:
Velenna originally grew up in a small colony of Invertebrate Cupes. When the colony had to make their way through a large city in order to reach the forest on the other side Velenna got lost and was taken care of by some friendly city pigeons. She barely remembers anyone from the colony so she's not upset about it, but spending time with the pigeons made her very socially awkward around anyone from her others species (including her own). Later, Velenna left the pigeons to explore by herself.
