Description
We drove 800 miles through desert and mountains, in the rain, and reached the Grand Canyon, to see ...rain! Not the quick passing showers we have seen in past years, but the clouds descending upon us and filling the canyon, all day. It was cold too, laced with sleet or pogonip (little ice balls) at times. We waited for moments when a portion cleared enough and took our shots! Thankful for the warm car with heater in between times
