Will not the tears of the pastBear heavy enough so as to cast
A river upon the barren soil
And cool the blood too keen to boil.
Weep open grief on the ground
For the lost. Leave to be found
A trail marked clean and clear
So all will know what happened here.
If only we could erase the fault
And make the water laden with salt
Pour from eyes to hastily flow
Over the old bones from which seeds grow.
