Found this 3d model of Hatsune Miku online somewhere. it was pain to download (download site was in Japanese), so I decided to be Mr. nice guy and upload it to an English site
Before you ask, this is the model used in the PV "melody.exe"
This file can be opened in Blender , a free 3d modeling application.
This isn't my work. It is someone else's, KIO's to be precise.
I just found it. granted, it took me a while to find it, but please do not credit me for this.
Anyways, here 's the original site. If anyone knows how to open the data models, I'll be happy to hear from you about how to do it

wow that model's gorgeous XD~ I have that Kio model for a different program, but something must've happened when the files got converted or something because the one I have looks downright frightening DX

How did you get miku with all of her tatoos and colored eyes etc.
When I uploaded the file miku's eyes were white blank and her O1 tattoo showed up as a black square.

Odd, it came with the package and as I looked around in the interface, all the textures seemed to have already been uploaded.

and the textures are in the correct subfolder?

I just figured out the problem ^--^

I was working with the Miku file while the folder was still "Zipped" I had to simply extract the folder and oddly enough, everything turned out just fine ^-^

For some reason, I can't re-export it to PMD with Blender's PMD helper. I wonder if you're experiencing the same...
by the way, the creator of this model is KIO
