I’m not so much of an Azur Lane Gacha player, but rather a Girls Frontline type, but I do have some favorite characters from AZL that I like, mostly of the ship girls in their Race Queen outfit designs. Just to name a few and possibly future fanarts, the race queen versions of Prince of Wales, Enterprise, Prinz Eugen, Takao, etc. However, there’s one ship girl that absolutely looks gorgeous to me that isn’t even one of the race queen versions, and that is the "Luxurious Wheels" party dress version of St. Louis. Along with her unbadged Mclaren P1, I get Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown vibes looking at her. Her default outfit version is alright, but her dress version is the one I wanted to draw her in. There was an anime figure pose of her that I really liked and that's what I chose to referenced. However, I did altered her pose, drew her at a different angle, wanting to have her hold her car key hanging out of her lifted hand (Not shown here), and gave her the same accessories from her original illustration that were different from the figure itself but somewhat simplified. Plus, I drew a nude outline of her as well… because why the hell not? While the final version will be cropped as a half pose, I do want to make a wallpaper of her someday with this full body pose, but standing in front of her Mclaren. As I said, it will be a while until I put up the finished version, so she’ll remain a WIP for now in my gallery.
