As mentioned in my journal, this is the faceted rainbow moonstone... 14mm square, tilted. Wrapped with sterling silver 24 and 26 gauge wire. I am tickled absolutely purple with how it turned out, although I did want the bail to look a little different. That's ok though.
I'm going to try and put up a couple pics of the different colors the stone has in my 'scraps' section, just because they're too cool not to post somewhere. Thanks for looking!

Nope, didn't cut this one... Found it at the Franklin, NC gem show. The dealer's name is Rusty, he owns Earth Door Sky Door, they specialize in labradorite and rainbow moonstone. They've got a website, I just can't remember the address... they're wholesale dealers, though. They've got some nice stones and finished jewelry. I've found someone online that has rainbow moonstone faceting rough, I think I'm going to order some just for fun... probably hold off on cutting it until I've cut a few more quartz stones.
