Collection '8240 crazy town'.

In the park behind Risskov Psychiatric hospital, this round mirror was erected as a piece of art - to reflect the sky, no matter its colour or temperament. As such, sometimes the image you are met with is grey and cloudy, other times it's blue and sunny. Much like the soul. Especially the soul of a mentally ill person.

There is a sense of duality to it, looking at this mirror and seeing your surroundings reflected back at you, because the eyes are said to be the mirrors of the soul and one's primary means of impression and expression alike. Now your eyes are looking at something already once interpreted and changed, or - upon looking more closely - your eyes themselves are being reflected.
