Edit 15.1.2012. All descriptions of my gryphons got an update. Now they should include all necessary information. About.----------------
Undead Kinhiae.
Name: Kinhiae
Nickname/alias: Princess Kinhiae (by herself)
Lifetime: over 50 years mortal life
Species: gryphon hybrid
Alignment: chaotic neutral
Closest relations: mother Gridr , father Fekehér , mate Lord , son Rafael
Personality traits: grew up being spoiled brat, vain, witty; afterwards with manners and certain affection
Personality in long: For Kinhiae outer appearance is what matters, she liked her appearance over anything and avoids any dirty works but does things that are “suitable for a princess”. She’s much like spoiled brat, discussion with her works if ignoring her self-centered parts.
Physical appearance: Inherited from her father, Kinhiae has slim and elegant body structure. Her main coloration is white with blue stripes, forelegs are scaled, two horns on her forehead, cockatoo-like crest.
Specialities: Can release some sort of energy shock (concentrated to hand), and wounds heal completely without leaving scars.
Life in short: She was found and raised by salkahis . Because she was so special creature, she was spoiled rotten and unfortunately she started to think she’s better than anybody else. She wanted to stay good-looking forever, and fallen to Chaos’ promise. Her mortal life ended in big fire.
Longer story: The story where everything started…
Weird fact: She was raised by salkahis, as well as her father and mother.

not necessarily, some of us just enjoy the creature itself and that's usually enough. if i were an artist i wouldn't bother giving THAT much attention to an imaginary character. i really like these stuff but i don't take them that seriously. of course you've got your own style.

lol what kind of a dramatic movie scenario is that? XD you so funny bro! but seriously though, it's your style if you want to create a backstory for every creature. but i really disagree when you said that backstoryless creatures are sad. some artists don't create backstorys. that doesn't mean we should have bad ideas about them. i mean after all, nobody is forced to make a backstory. it's not a rule or anything.

one of my favs just love 1 thing is it girl or a guy it looks like a girl because i analyzed that some have a look as if they have a penis the way a dog's looks like on some but i love this one the colors especially

1: I support using punctuation, I can barely get anything out of your text.
2: I support also reading artist's comment to find out what's current creature's gender rather than looking what they have between legs. In a long run it's ineffective since my creatures usually don't have outer gender.

And oh, since the name Kinhiae comes from Latin (right? At least it looks Latin.), the pronunciation would be:
Kin(almost the same as "king" only without "g")
-he(like he and she, and I believe it's the Finnish pronunciation of "hi")
-eh(I believe it's just a short "e" in Finnish)

Ah, right, I totally forgot about that... Still, pronunciation of Bosnian is extremely similar to that of Latin, and Bosnian has both J and K. So, if I would pronounce Kinhiae, I'd go the way I explained already. That would be the pronunciation in Latin, if Latin had K. lol

Reading it in spanish sounds like that:
-Ken (like skin)
-e (spanish don´t pronounce h,or do it so sweet)
-ae (like aerodinamic)
So Ken-e-ae, that would be kinhiae to me ^^U. And I don´t know how you finnish pronounce xDU.

I like the design, but instead of side view. Maybe try draw some more dynamic poses? like made is jumping, flying, or smile to the Camera?

Concept art shows the creature itself without any confusing things, it shouldn't be dynamic. These work as reference sheets too. I draw these mainly for for myself so I could check what my gryphs do look like while drawing something more interesting.

Forgive me if I sounded naive. I was just wondering if you did it traditinaly then touch up on photoshop or any other program. Your work is so awesome, I was just curious as a fellow artist.

...Someday I should find out why people try apologize things for me without good reasons... I don't get seriously angry too easily but seems like I can sound like that too easily... |x You don't have to apologize anything before it's too late.
I use Photoshop while scanning and cleaning up the art piece from all dust...but this got a bit too much contrast in my opinion...

Actually, it's an old habit of mine to apologize a lot. I don't want to offend anyone in any way, so I just say sorry in case I do. Thank you for understanding and being kind.
That's what I normally do too, clean them up in photoshop. Since your work is so incredible I got confused if it were digital or traditinal even though it says it. Sometimes I forget to look at that part.
