15 years since Digimon Adventure first aired. I swore to myself I'd remember this.ANYWAYS. Digimon. No matter how much time goes on and it has been a while since I drew any fanart, Digimon is still the fandom I like the most, and which I could say as MY fandom if I should pick one. I've learnt to know so much cool people through this, cannot just get rid of it. Ever.
Also. MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon - many people remember them and overall they are cool digimons. Anybody claiming otherwise go away now. ... Also, personal nostalgia: these two were the two first digimons I have ever drawn, when two friends at the time in 2002 asked. I didn't even care Digimon back then. One year later I loved this show.
And sure, digital monsters have had a huge impact for me during past years when I was developing as an artist. Even a thing like feet. I LOVE huge monster claws. To this day, I don't like realistic animal feet as much as I like these 3-digits-and-huge-claws.
¤ Liners, ink, copics, opaque white. I felt SO rusty when not drawing these two for many years.
Also. Digimon Adventure is getting a new sequel next year. Digimon. Adventure. Continues. UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MEANS!?!?!

Thanks. Digimon is still ongoing, thou. It has been that since it started, some years were more silent but it has always been alive, I don't get it why people often seem to talk about Digimon like some old thing. (OK, Adventure is old.)

Oho, mulla ei ollut mitään tajua tuosta, että Digimon Adventurella tuli 15-v täyteen, mutta satuinpahan iloisesti taas katsomaan senkin läpi tänä vuonna |D Aika hyvin. Muistaisikohan tuota jatko-osa -systeemiä vilkuilla sitten ensi vuonna...
Mä en ymmärrä, miten silloin pentuna ihQtin tuota MetalGarurumonia ihan älyttömästi enkä niinkään välittänyt WarGreymonista, kun nykyään yksi mun ehdottomista suosikeista on nimenomaan WarGreymon (musta versio samaten). Toki MetalGarurumon on siisti, mutta jotenkin sen kova fanitus jäi jonnekin :<
No, oli miten oli, uskallankohan mä edes kysyä, miten montaa värisävyä Copiceja tällaiseen eeppisyyteen pitää käyttää? Mun pitänee jossain välissä puhdistaa koneen näyttö sormenjäljistä, kun tuota väritysjälkeä ja herkullisia metallinkiiltoefektejä huvittaisi yrittää härppiä ruudun läpi. Lineartit on kanssa aika nam, kuten yleensäkin. JA dynamiikka...! Saanko mennä itkemään kateellisena nurkkaan ;o; (Aijoo, olen jo nurkassa...)

Nää on kumpikin cooleja moneja. Mulla oli WarGreymonin sukuhaara yleensä se suosikki mut nykyään aika tasaseen nää kaks. Tuli muitakin moneja joita oli hyvä fanittaa ja meni klassikoiden ohi. x>
Pois nurkasta tai mä lähetän marsun sun kimppuun. Ei sillä että se tekis yhtään mitään ellet oo sattunu samalla muuttumaan voikukaksi, sitten kannattaa juosta ja lujaa... NIIN. Muutamaa copicia tuli käyteltyä, en muista että mitä kaikkea. Lineistä sen verran että ootko kuullu sellasesta kun Pentel Brush Pen? Ostin tossa viime vuoden alussa ja jos oot huomannu niin lineartti on alkanu menemään enemmän tän käyttöön koska tykkään ite enemmän kuin vanhasta ohutviivasta. Suosittelen, hienonhieno kynä.

Ja ihan tietty pääasiaan: kuva on upea. Todella hienosti käytetty värejä ja varjoja. Hahmot näyttävät täysin itseltään ja asennotkin ovat upean dynaamiset. Hienoa jälkeä. MetalGarurumon on meikäläisen suosikkeja (ja muutkin Gabumonin kehitysasteet).

Personally, Digimon will always have a place in my heart that no Pokemon ever will. I also find my artwork heavily influenced by Digimon, even to this day. Heck, if I do a growing sequence, I find it looks a lot like how a Digimon grows.
I've been rewatching all the Digimon shows recently, this time all in the original Japanese version. It's defiantly better then all the puns my native language threw into it.

Digimon Adventure 03, the first thing that came to mind was OMFG Kari's Gatomon may get mega form!!! Then I remembered the Adventure psp game (where Ophanimon was the mega form and that is now canon) and I went to cry in a corner. But I'm excited anywys

That one movie and Rumble Arena 1 still show that Holydramon is Tailmon's final evolution...I don't know anymore what it is or are both legal. I prefer Holydramon because I like her more and also evolution line puppy->cat->angel->dragon is hilariously awesome.

Hopefully it's not too rude to hop in.. But Ofanimon is only Tailmon's Ultimate in the PSP game. Holydramon instead has been showed to be Tailmon's Ultimate in the movie, card came, digivice, rumble arena and in other wonderswan games. But ehh, Digimon's don't have ''cannon lines'' so none of the evolutions is wrong.

Snow ball -> green kitten -> brown puppy -> White cat -> Angel -> Pink fluffy dragon-goat. Best digimon evolution ever.

If it happens during winter time, snow works well instead of pillows but I can prepare some glögi ( es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gl%C3%BC… ) as well because hot drink, that you may need!

Joo sitten etten oo ihan dorka niin kuvasta - siisti diptyykki, toimii oikein hyvin parina, paremmin kuin yksin, sanoisin. Molemmissa on hyvä dynamiikka, ja eri suuntiin suuntava liike molemmissa toimii hyvin toista täydentämään.
Hyi kun tuo kuulosti taas taiteelliselta, eiiii.

Tähän mennessä oot varmaan saanu selville mistä on kyse ja sanotaanko että aivan helevetin hienoo että Digimon ylipäätään jatkuu (ja kun kyseessä on Adventuren jatkot ni kai se houkuttelee mukaan niitä nostalgiavammaisia jotka kattoi tyyliin pari kolme ekaa kautta ja lopetti sitten koska kaikki uusihan on ihan syvältä). x>

The first 2 Protagonist Mega levels ah good memories. Great to see these guys again and in such a awesome painting. And when you say sequel to Digimon adventure do you mean after 02? Or a new season after Xros Wars (not Fusion English Dub sucks for this season).

Speaking of Digimon, have you seen all the anime of the different digimon series? I've been slowly gettin' through them all. All that's left for me is the re-watching of five more eps of Frontier, along with the second and third seasons of Xros.
