A very high quality set of headphones, it sports several features. Multi-color LED display for any occasion (though it's default is white), reinforced cord protection, high-end sound-canceling technology, and a key stone slot. These headphones are a music lover's best friend.
- Mp3 Player
A notably older model, Cory keeps this in his bag at all times. With his headphones usually plugged in, this is the main source of his music. When asked why he doesn't use his phone (which clearly has the capability to hold and play music as well), he'll retort that the phone's tendency to constantly interrupt music with notifications and calls gets really annoying.
- Cell Phone
Also kept on his person, he mainly uses his cell phone as... well a cell phone. Not really into 'poke-apps', he'll make use of his phone's camera and internet capabilities when he needs them.
- Fine Stylus
A pokemon Ranger tool used to befriend wild pokemon. It has a charge function that allows it to become more powerful. The Styler's effects only last for a small time. It can be worn on the wrist.

Background:
Like most youngsters in Almia, Cory attended and graduated from the Ranger school, and was a naturally skilled Ranger. After a few notable missions, he began working directly for the Ranger Union, having his stylus upgraded to the Fine Stylus. He became well known for always completing a mission before taking on any other tasks. Once in a while he was sent to accomplish missions in other regions outside of Almia. While on these missions, he observed and met a wide variety of trainers, and their practice of capturing and keeping their pokemon; as opposed to his work, which didn't allow permanent bonds to form between him and the pokemon who assisted him. The only Pokemon he had actually formed bonds with were his partner pokemon, a Vulpix and a Growlithe. Overtime, Cory realized how much he himself wanted to be a trainer, and to become partners with the pokemon he met. With his mind set, he addressed the Ranger Union and expressed his wishes of wanted to be a Trainer, but still having the desire to help the world as a Ranger. After long discussion among Union's leaders, they allowed Cory to keep his Ranger Stylus and uniform while leaving his position at the Ranger Union; With the condition that if he was called back to Ranger Union to take on a mission, he would drop whatever he was doing and come straight back. With that, Cory then began his quest to become a trainer, while being a Freelance Ranger.

After a few years of being a trainer, full of adventure and fun battles, Cory found himself missing the life of a ranger. After chatting with a close friend , he was encouraged to pick up his old job. Reinstated as a full-time Ranger once more, Cory was sent to report to the Ivywood Ranger base. Leaving his team behind back home with his mother in Boyleland, Cory is determined to have a fresh start in Ivywood.

- Cory finally got a new pair of Headphones, through his generous and good friend, Nolan.
- His last mission took him to the Kalos region, prompting the wardrobe change.
- Although he doesn't advertise it, Cory has a mark on the outside of his upper left arm. He doesn't specify if it's a tattoo or a birth mark.

- Although not one to be artistically creative, Cory is a huge music enthusiast. He also doesn't have that bad of a voice...
- Cory has a bit of world experience on him, so he's pretty knowledgeable on a small variety of things.
- He carries his old Fine Stylus with him for Ranger Missions. He finds it easier to help pokemon after he calms them down with it.
- Cory's mother is a retired Ranger that lives in Boyleland. She recently has taken to being Cory's pokemon caretaker, and she loves it.
- It's hard to tell when Cory is playing music in his headphones, so can he not hear you? or is he just ignoring you? You'll never know unless he's in his ranger uniform, as that's the only time he takes them off.
- Cory likes to carry a small stash of Poffens in his hip-bag. He's always ready to treat a pokemon to one, whether it's his own or someone else's.
- He's practiced to be ambidextrous, but primarily right handed.

- Nolen Chase
A close friend of Cory's throughout Ranger school, Nolan is as loyal as any friend can get. Although they found themselves competing against one another at first, they became fast friends with a unique understanding of each other. Keeping in contact even after they went their separate ways, they were happy to be reunited once more in the town of Ivywood. Cory feels like an unofficial older brother to Nolan, somewhat protective and has the need to help guide him. But while his energy can be a bit overwhelming, Cory knows Nolan will always try to do the right thing and have his back.

- Akiko Kikoeru
The ever-popular Super Contest Hall idol, and somehow Cory's friend. After the off chance of actually doing well in one of the hall's contests, Cory had a chance to chat with the idol and get the chance to know her. Finding Akiko's company extremely pleasant charming, he found himself coming back and back again, though not really for the contests he was participating in. Although he refuses to put a name on the fuzzy feelings he has when he's around her, Cory tries his hardest not to mess up the friendship he's managed to make with this remarkable gal.

- Valerie Pix
A strong gal who not afraid to have fun, Cory has been constantly impressed by Val's valor. They met initially during a spirit hunt, and got along fairly quickly. After spending hours talking about themselves and getting to know each other, Cory quickly came to respect the tenacious Archeologist. After a rough battle with a sad outcome, their friendship was undoubtedly secured. Often sharing a similar opinion, Cory usually finds Val agreeable and easy to get along with. As someone he feels he can let his guard down around, Val has Cory's trust and undeniable respect. Though after some discussion, he's been itching to test her strength in a battle...

- Faust Mephist
A matching force that's a thorn in his side, Faust has become Cory's unofficial rival. After "theft-turned-forest-fire", Cory has done everything within his power and jurisdiction to hunt down the thief that caused it all. With the investigation still at it's start, Cory hasn't officially submitted a report on the subject, hoping to wrap up the investigation on his own. The only problem is he still hasn't caught the guy's name...

- Joshua Grey
Another thief Cory has rubbed the wrong way. After managing to stop one of the "Sting's" operations (particularly in the safari zone), it was made clear he had been put on the criminal's 'X' list. Going out of his way to torment our Ranger ([PTS] You Can't Save them All, Cory! ), Cory has the lowest opinion of Joshua, but hasn't quite find the right way to handle him yet. It's only a matter of time before something serious happens...
