It was fun and interesting lmao since the hair took up so much space I had to adapt and change the way I normally do an ink drawing xD
Normally I would, like everyone else probably:
Sketch the whole piece ---> ink the whole piece
But since the hair took so much detail in itself it would have been hard to tell apart pencil lines that belong to the hair from the ones that belong to the dress, skin etc.
so what I ended up doing was:
rough sketch without any detail ---> sketch detailed face and hair -----> ink face and hair ----> sketch the dress and other details ----> ink the final pieces

I can see why you'd take that route, especially with how Deidre's Heroes artist made her hair. So many individual locks can certainly be intimidating on the sketch.
