A little commission I did for PrismatDragoon because he got me the nightfang griffon in guildwars2 c:Thanks so much for this again. I still love it!
Aso is such a fun character to draw. This drawing was very enjoyable. The tail and horns have a bright yellow glow which I tried to suggest in my pencil lines by making the outlines lighter. I also added a bit of yellow with photoshop to make it more apparent that I did not just simply forget to draw these parts darker orz

Hey I have to ask: what pencils do you use to draw with?

I have 3 different mechanical pencils that I draw with.
They're all HB. I use 0.5 for drawing in general. 0.3 when I want to refine the lineart (which I didn't do for this particular drawing, but I did it here for exampleΒ Have you smiled today? Β but that only really leads to darker lines, not to more detail) And I have a 0.7 that I very rarely use if I want to cross hatch very large surfaces.
