LOG - Day 3,103. Firwood, Maine, East Coast of the United States. It's been 8 1/2 years since a secret government project, colloquially known as "Freezedown", malfunctioned, causing a worldwide blizzard to occur. 8 1/2 years ago, it was sunny, 78 degrees. Moments later, a blanket of grey clouds filled the skies, and snow began falling. Temperatures dropped from the 70s to teens in mere minutes. Cars stalled out because of the cold; tires went flat due to the air pressure change, and they all froze up. People were forced inside their homes to keep warm, and it hasn't been the same since. Today is June 16th, 2031. The temperature is -2 degrees Fahrenheit, and it's been locked in that temperature for a long time. I've been busy myself, working on a car that wouldn't freeze up. It's a modified Bruckell Moonhawk, alias "Project Big Freeze". It's been working for me for three years, not once conking out. I just hope the boys at the UN can stop the freeze before humans go extinct completely.
