As it says in the image, DISCLAIMER, I do NOT know any Russian in the slightest. Apologies for any translation/written errors because. I'm a Chinese-American. Not a Russian. LMAO.

My gosh, I'm pouring out quite a LOT of art lately, haven't I?

I guess I've had a rare break to actually find time to do art, haha. Yay?
But I'll be back in school tomorrow. Mmmm.

So- recently, under the recommendation of Randi Barrow in her email back to me (See the Finding Zasha deviation for context), I began to read a book titled Nicholas and Alexandra. It details the downfall of the Romanov dynasty (aka, Tsar Nicholas II and his wife, Alexandra,) and how Russia eventually underwent its notorious Russian Revolution- going from a provisional government to a communist dictatorship in the process- and, yeah. Surprisingly, the book had a chapter on young Lenin and Alexander Kerensky in there as well, but I digress...

The book actually focuses more on the actual downfall itself and less on the changes that occurred afterward. And yes, it brings up Alexei and Rasputin. I haven't actually GOT to that part yet, but I know it mentions them later, because at the beginning of the book there was a cast of characters and Rasputin was LITERALLY IN THERE. Hoo boy. And you can't mention the downfall of the Romanovs without mentioning Alexei or Rasputin in there for sure, so- yeah.

(I'm on page 70/700-something pages. Yeah. I have a long way to go...)
