HISTORY
Kit ||
☾ Rainkit was born in the Valley, to former Ridgeclan cats; Flybelly and Oakthistle. He had two siblings, Cloudkit and Sunnykit, and spend his kithood cuddling with his mother and crying at the sight of bugs.
☾He always enjoyed the quiet parts of the nursery, being groomed by his mother and playing in the flower fields with her friends Redkit and Lilackit.
☾ He had a hard time relating to most of the kits, as he was one of the only ones with both parents, but he managed to make a few close friends and a little group called the Blossom Buddies, with Lilac and Red!
Apprenticeship ||
☾ At 6 moons, Rainpaw was quietly appointed an Apprentice behind all of her friends. Being the youngest litter, he ended up feeling awkward when joining the apprentice den. Everyone was older, and he felt like he couldn't make friends easily.
☾ Luckily for him, one night, an older apprentice snuck out of the Apprentice den and caught his attention. Her name was Applepaw, and she was immediately kind to Rainpaw. He couldn't help but feel a special connection with her.
☾ After a few more moons, Rainpaw started to notice his anxiety was higher around the other toms. He'd talked to some of the warriors, like Bluestrike and Lioncall, and found he felt like an alien around them. They had an energy he felt strange too, and after spending a moon in the Nursery to help out Waspeye [Who was pregnant at the time] because Applepaw's mentor, and Waspeye's mate, asked for help.
☾ He found that the life of a queen was much more enjoyable, and by extention, the feminine life too. After that, Rainpaw started wearing flowers, changed her pronouns, and came out to Applepaw as trans, as well as her father.
☾ Her mother would prove difficult, as she felt like Rainpaw's sudden gender change was a phase, and that Applepaw had been secretly telling Rainpaw to do it to trip up her studies and make the clan loose respect for her son.
☾ Flybelly, Rainpaw's mother, became aggressive to Applepaw one morning, and got swatted by Applepaw's mentor, making Rainpaw and her mother's relationship much worse than it was.
☾ Flybelly swore it was Applepaw's fault, but as of now, Rainpaw is fully out to her clan mates and receiving a lot of support. Her biggest issue was her parents occasional fighting, with her father being supportive and kind, and her mother's harsh words and intentions.
☾ But, overall, Rainpaw is learning to accept herself and serving her clan the best way she can as an apprentice. Applepaw was soon on named Appleshine, and became a warrior early due to saving a kit and warrior from a fox.
☾ Now that they're separated, their relationship has been very awkward. Appleshine confessed she had a crush on Rainpaw, but Rain declined due to their rank difference, and promised they'd be closer when the day came, and Rainpaw finally was old enough to receive her warrior name.
☾ The thought of Appleshine made every training session with her mentor insanely tense, as she races to get ahead of her clanmates and become the next newest warrior, leading to her becoming a bit more rambunctious than normal.
Warriorhood ||
☾ Rainpaw received the name of Raindance, and begun taking her warrior duties a little lacking-ly at the startm getting used to her new surroundings
☾ At 17 moons, Appleshine had proposed to be Soul-Mates, and Raindance accepted immediately!
