What I see is a great use of the elements and principles of art. I'll begin with the space. The top left corner balances out the lower right through the use of shape and color. The movement is created by the dark lower mass that leads my eyes to the face, that fits the mood created by the figure. The colors remain a neutral palette that spreads evenly across the image like it should.
Looking at this piece creates a conflict concerning self. The figure vanishes in the the composition, yet reappears in other places forcing viewers to use closure, hence building interaction in the artwork.
I anything needs to be altered, it is the use of the patterns. Perhaps mirroring the patterns (subtly) with the same color on the top. My eye stops at the sun type pattern, and wants to see more to lead me around the piece.
It's a dynamic piece. Great work.
