That is why I prefer chapters which are somewhat more focused on the mission and objective rather than zeal and xenophobia. If I was an Astartes captain, I would order the company to quickly and efficiently destroy any threats or enemies, but leave the civilians or any who do not choose to fight back or resist unmolested, as it would save valuable time and resources.

The true meaning of "good" means you're willing to stand up against the ultimate authority for what is right and just, even if it means you are decried as "evil" for it.

Jason is armed enough that even if they try to kill him for disobeying orders then and there he'll be able to take some of his former Brothers down with him. If they get him to stand down by promising amnesty to the xeno children then they'd better keep it because if they renege their promise afterwards then they'll have set Jason on the path that ends with him deserting to become a renegade or throwing his lot in with the Dark Gods.
If they are only raiding the world then they can just warn the two xeno children to never become Fire Warriors and otherwise leave them unscathed. If they are conquering the world then they can try to get the paperwork needed to sanction them, giving those children the right to exist within The Imperium (everyone seems to forget that Sanctioned Xenos are a thing).
For Brother Jason to protect the two Tau Children is the right thing to do, even if Tau Firewarriors are unlikely to show the same kindness to human children.

That's no guarantee of perfect orthodoxy; some Imperial Fist Successors have turned from their duty (the Malevolent Marines seem to care only for their own self-preservation, the Venom Thorns and the Brothers of Lethe turned to chaos, the Black Templars ignore the Codex Astartes, etc).

Very interesting picture with a thought provoking story. Most times you cheer for the space marines fighting aliens, it is difficult to think that even aliens have families, children and loved ones. While I have no problems with them killing chaos, orks and tyranids, who I feel are nonredeemable monsters, I feel slightly more hesitant when it comes to craftworld eldar and the tau as I feel those are the two only alien races that have some honor and I hope will be able to make a permanent alliance with the Imperium against the other horrors of the galaxy. The Imperium have enough enemies as it is.
I hope the space marines can find it in themselves to forgive and let their brother live and just send him to have talks of faith with their chaplain and have a period of silent prayer to the Emperor to gather his thoughts and rebuild his faith.
As for the tau children I hope they are allowed to be evacuated to another tau world. This should hopefully improve relations slightly between humanity and the tau, prove to them that here is honor in humanity.
You have you ask yourself this question. Is this what the Emperor really would have wanted? By just senseless butchery you lower yourself to the level of chaos.

Yeah the Imperium it's a little insane and extreme, but they were molded by the real insanity that is the 40k universe, with everything trying to annihilate you in the worst way possible. Even though Tau and eldar are more civilized and fight in honor codes, I don't think the Imperium allow such space for debates.
But you raised a nice question about the Emperor, it's something like 'what would Jesus do' but in the Emperor version. Which is hard to think because Jesus would work with "Love your neighbor as yourself", not sure about the Emps compassion about other forms of life (not even sure about Jesus compassion about xenos form of life LOL)

Since the oregron iccinent, target has been spoted in various battlefields, aiding civilians and millitary personel who were seem to be in case of emergency danger.
should the target be spotted again, he must be terminated immideatly.

I'm certainly not the first to notice how the anti-Xeno policies of the Imperium are a symbol for real-world racial and ethnic prejudice, and the scene you've depicted here explores the deeper implications of that. No matter which side you sympathize with in the dispute, it's clear that there's a message being expressed here that goes beyond the Warhammer Universe.
