This thing now holds a special place in my heart. As weird as a mushroom mech causing hallucinations is I never thought Idw would incorporate a mushroom mech into the recent Sonic Idw comics if you've been following them. I'm surprised this wasn't already on DeviantArt, but I guess I forgot; it was a speed paint months ago.
