Nice details on the skin. Something I would like to see someone do with sauropods: use perspective to really give them size and weight. From any angle a person is likely to see them from, these things would be distorted by perspective (the necks and tails would sort of fade into the distance). It might be something fun to experiment with.

Напълно съгласен съм с това, което каза за реконструкциите на завроподите/сауроподите. Истината е, че много ми се иска да нарисувам нещо подобно на това, което описваш, но имам проблеми с изобразяването на тези животни в перспектива по-различна от обикновено използваната. Въпреки това смятам в бъдеще да експериментирам с по нетрадиционна перспектива. Между другото не знам дали си разглеждал по-старите ми рисунки, които съм качил в галерията си, но имам една реконструкция на Omeisaurus от по-особена гледна точка- [link]

Съжалявам, че не съм отговорял по рано. Писах един дълго отговор, но компюторът ми го изгубеше. Сега опитвам да си спомям каквото аз казваь преди.
Трудно е да показваш перспекивата от завроподите. Ако ти изглеждаш нещо толково голямо от близо, перспективата е странна. Но от дълго, не можеш да видиш всички детаили.

Interesting. I once planned a similar type of scene with some huge sauropods, but never made it. What do you think their fight might have been like? Like giraffes? Side by side, pushing and shoving. Maybe not head punching...

I imagine the figth in two parts. First one is just show off and intimidation (what is seen in my work). If none of the competitors is willing step back then the real figth starts including pushing, shoving and hard neck butting. Anyway, that's just my just my imagination.
Actually I was going to draw serious fight but after several tries didn't managed to come up with good composition. That's why I'm going to draw another scene showing neck butting with another sauropod genus (probably Rapetosaurus)very soon.

Thank you! I'm planing to draw another drawing showing real neck butting in sauropods very soon.
I actually like to draw details but yes, it does takes a lot of patience. Anyway, the skin details in this piece are actually very simple.
