This reminds me of the velociraptors in Jurassic Park 3. It was my favorite of their designs. Dinosaurs were likely colorful (& feathered but not everyone likes that - I do) and not blah grey. They were also attentive parents, like you show in this beautiful drawing. Love it!

Yes, I did use color pencils. Just ordinary color pencils, nothing special.

nice. although the "Raptors" in the JP films where too big to be Velociraptor.Velociraptor was much smaller, had feathers, and wasn't as intelegent as the films make them out as.

the Raptors in the JP films resimbled more like UtahRaptor or Deinonycus.

either way, you did great drawing the dinosaur.

actually if i remember correctly deinonychus which is what the raptors are based off of was classified as a species of velociraptor at the time the first book and movie came out, it was later proven wrong but you can't just go out and proclaim it in the next movie or whatever so they stuck with velociraptor not that it really matters

I hated the "makeover" they gave Velociraptor in JP III, but your drawing of it looks really good.

Thank you. I didn't like how the raptors look in JP/// too but I change my mind with the time. This "makeover" was really stupid but they just tried to make the raptors closer to the real animals.

No, I think it would be better if they keep the original concept and stop changing the raptors. This movie is based on old information. Who cares if the raptors have feathers. No one.
