Description
This is Joan of Arc. This original painting is done by Howard Pyle one my fave illustrators of 20th century. I just redid his painting my style. I always wanted to do it but i never have enough confidence, so finally this is here. I love your style so much, I think that it looks so painterly and complete. Do you use a lot of brushes when you work or do you use a lot after? I also love your color choices. There is good harmony in your pallet. around how long did it take you to do this? Its beautiful!

This didnt take me that long, since I already had a refernce for it, like 8 hours maybe 10!
Thanks Tatyana you're so kind T-T. Yes I do use alot of brushes. so i have alot of hard edges and then i smooth the edges that I want to be softer later
