That's a great shot of the creature. It looks like it could run fast. It looka like it has 5 fingered "hands" instead of paws, I think it's amazing how many so many creatures besides us have 5 fingered hands.

Based on what I have read (and similarities with the tasmanian devil) its not so much a fast animal. Its more like an endurance runner thats able to put on a good burst of speed for a bit for the final kill.

The 5 fingers is so common because of evolution. All the animals alive today can trace their lineage back to a single source which happened to have 4 limbs ending in 5 digits.

Oh yes I know that. I just still find it facinating to this day. I love to read about evolution, since I was a boy. (even if certain people I know would be apuald I do, but they don't have computers, hah!)

Sorry. Working towards being a highschool/early college level teacher, and the inner teacher gets a bit overzealous at times...

I know plenty of people appalled by my taste in scientific beliefs. My Darwin & Evolution fishes tend to draw them out.
