I really dig the contrast in the piece, the way the darkness of the building and the lightness of the snow/sky interact is very nice. Also, I think you've made a great choice to make this image monochrome as it only accentuates the wonderful contrast and to a lesser extent, the wonderful subtleties of the textures that can be found in this piece. Of course, as others have noted, the shape of the building is quite intriguing and it stands out very nicely here.

This is a very emotional shot because of the scenery, the black and white, and the subject.

Interesting. I like the triangular form of the hut, one of the basic forms of art etc. Kinda pointy, if that makes any sense...
Nice shot, and as always I'm loving the b/w.
