Niu D’ocell
Climate: Cold Snows often
Niu D’ocell is the closest continent to our World Tree and also this world’s religious center. It’s a single country with frigid lands filled with snow and ice. Niu D’ocell is home to two Summon Spirits, Celsius and Undine. There are towns and cities in this cold land, and despite the location, they still seem very “cozy”, with cottage-like buildings and small churches offering prayers to the guardians of our world. Though Niu D’ocell is known mostly for its strong religious beliefs, supposedly the land also has greater healing properties because it is the closest to the World Tree.
Niu D’ocell is home to two summon spirits; Undine and Celsius. Undine the Summon Spirit of water is located underwater in the middle of the great lake. The second Celsius the Summon Spirit of ice is located in a temple far south, shrouded in blizzards and hail storms . Both are either extremely hard to get to or are blocked off by the ruling power.
Niu D’ocell is made up of mostly three cities; Larosterna Inca, Tinamous, and Depatress. These three cities lay in a triangular formation from each other along the shore of the Grand lake. Only two cities act as the center of one of the two religions. Larosterna Inca has the Church of Korbinian the Sun and Tinamous has the church of Nasha the Moon. However, the capital Depatress is the only city in Niu D’ocell that has both religions in it. Along with the three cities there are also two small towns located on the edges of Niu D’ocell’s continent called Rheas and Grebes. Both are small port towns with inns and shops that are aimed at travelers and merchants. Both port towns get all of Niu D’ocell’s shipments from outside lands.

1-Larosterna Inca located on the west side of the Grand Lake is also known for its huge ice skating trails. The ice paths go through the entire city, all reconnecting in the town square where you can rent skates if you don’t own a pair. Larosterna Inca, just like other towns and cities, feels very cozy and festive. Once a year they hold a festival called áttelel. This festival celebrates the creation of the city by having races along the ice trails in a tournament form with the winner getting a great big prize of some kind.

2-Tinamous does not have an ice path Like Larosterna Inca but it is known for its tea. Tinamous is famous for brewing many kinds of tea especially its own one of a kind tea: “Stardust Tea”, sometimes called the “Promise Tea”. This tea is often drank when making special promises to the important person in ones life. Stardust Tea is made from a special herb only found on the shores of the great lake. Tea shops in Tinamous often pay people to retrieve this herb for them because it is expensive to buy in the market (travelers are usually recruited because of monsters and cheaper prices overall). They may brew you a cup of tea if you bring a bit extra as well as payment for your efforts (just to try it).
STARDUST TEA FACTS:
• Made from D’ocell blooms leaves and petals
• Shimmers like star dust though looks golden
• Is semi-sweet with a honey-like scent to it

3-Depatress is the capital of Niu D’ocell, it is located on the south end of the great lake. This city is like a full resort, fitted with a casino and even a spa. The casino has a special day show called ”Starry Angles!”, a singing and dancing trio of girls. The spa is revered for its strong herbal effects as it uses the water from the Grand Lake to help cure all types of ailments. The spa is also a hotel with private areas as well (expensive rooms, to be specific). Depatress also houses both religions on different sides of the town. This causes some problems at times but Depatress is an exciting town that attracts many people from all over to it.

4-Rheas and 5-Grebes, two small towns that contain ports for importing and exporting, and inns. Other than that, nothing important.

6- Undine's Lake, the location of The Sunken Temple were Undine is found. Long ago there used to be a mechanism to allow people to get into the temple. But it broke.

7- Oie-Glasse, A dangerous narrow mountain path that has taken the lives of many adventurers. Said to be the only location were Celsius's Tear exists and were the summon spirit resides. One foot on the wrong ledge and you ether fall to your death or into the underworld itself.
